Another Day, another Skirt #1

Actually I planned to post another outfit today but then the weather was so bad today that it was impossible to make some good pictures...

I didn't want to bore you with two skirt- outfits in a row, but as destiny seems to want things differently, I just decided to make this week a skirt- week and show you a few more of my favorite skirts (you saw already one in the before- last post :))

So here we go with this light pink and dark blue combination :)

I was super super happy when I found this skirt on my sale- shopping tour with my cousin last week.
 Its from H&M and I got it for some 7Euro. 
The shirt is an old one from H&M and the bag is a present from my friend Cathrin, who used to blog too. I hope she will be back some day :) 

Btw, this may be the last time you see me with this glasses. I bought a new pair today and I plan to buy another new one online. Somehow I start to like wearing glasses (usually I wear contact lenses) and I feel like investing a little bit more in different pairs :)

Gooseberry compote on semolina pudding

I really like to try out new things with fruits... and right now its berry season in Germany :)

This is why I made this gooseberry compote on semolina pudding and as I really loved it (and my little cousin and J. did too), I decided to share the recipe with you :)
Its really easy, really good, healthy and its perfect for summer (we had it for breakfast this morning)

    

What you need: Gooseberries, sugar, vanilla sugar, semolina pudding, milk (either 100% milk or 50% with water), a little bit of water, a little bit of butter. 

Put the water and the gooseberries in a pan, boil them and add sugar (as much as you like... the gooseberries are quite sour so you may want to use lots of sugar). Boil the gooseberries until they make a nice compote.

Then make the semolina pudding- boil the milk (or milk and water), add butter, a little bit of vanilla sugar and add the semolina pudding. Let boil until it has the right consistency.

Then put first the semolina pudding into a bowl and then the gooseberry compote. Leave it in the fridge for a few hours and enjoy when its cold :)

Maxi dress

Today I want to show you my favorite maxi dress :)

Its a few seasons old and from H&M but still I love it a lot and every spring I wait for the first hot days for finally wearing it :)

As you may have noticed, I like to wear my summer dresses quite "pure" without many accessoires. A pair of earrings, some bracelets and a cute pair of shoes or sandals is enough for me to combine with my summer dresses. Btw, the sandals I am wearing in here, are also some of my favorites. I bought them in Tanzania a few years ago and I really think I have to go back there and get a new pair as soon as these ones are broken ;)

My 14 year old cousin is here to spend her last week of summer holidays with me and J. :) today we will go out and have breakfast downtown and then go for some summer-sale shopping. Yay :)

Black dress in the sun...

I found this dress again on moving day on Wednesday....

You know this when you have some clothes like forever and you completly forget about them?
And then its like having something new when you find them again :)

This is what I felt like when I found this dress again on Wednesday when J. moved in with me and we arranged our clothes in a new way :)

I combined the black dress with light green accesoires to make it become a little more summer- like... cause usually I do not like to wear black clothes in the summer... but for this dress I made an exception ;)

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!? I will go to the market today to buy lots of veggies and fruits; and then I want to try out some new smoothies :) Tonight there is a barbeque party and some friends place and tomorrow I will spend the day with some friends on a flea market... can't wait :)

Green summer dress...

This post and the next ones will be quite green :)

Here I show you one of my favorite summer dresses (from ZARA, I bought it in Paris some two or three years ago) and in the next post I will post about green smoothies and then I also want to show you some pictures from my last hiking trip- in the green forests ;)

I did, even though it was busy Monday. J. is moving in the day after tomorrow so I had to prepare the flat for him moving in... so I went to second hand shop to get rid of a bunch of clothes and I cleaned the flat and changed around the furniture so that there is more space for his things... and then I had a long and wonderful coffee date with a friend which was probably the best part ;)

I am just back from a hiking- weekend and I will go and relax now after hours of hiking (and swiming)

Urban Exploration- Outfit

The other day, J. and I went for some Urban Exploration...


those of you who follow my blog for a while, know that I really like to explore some forgotten places from time to time. Now, since I was in the U.S. for quite a while I did not go for any exploration trips in Germany until this week.

We found this  former factory while we went for a walk by the river. I will post a few pictures from the building in the days to come. For now I want to show the outfit- posts we took inside the forgotten building :) 

The dress is from mango and some five or six years old. My ex- boyfriend got it for me when we were travelling to see my aunt in Greece. I still wear it every summer and I still love it a lot (thankfully I am also still good friend with my ex, so its not weird to wear a gift from him:))
