Well, I've been now and I really think I never have to go again. Seriously! I didn't like this place...
to go there you drive through the desert for hours and you don't see a single human being or anything green. It somehow makes you feel depressed. Then you suddenly arrive in this city where everything seems to be so fake and unreal. We all felt so uncomfortable around there. There is nothing real! Like, even most of the plants are made of plastic, the stones in the pools are made out of plastic, everything is made out of plastic and nothing, really nothing is real. It really was the weirdest place I've ever visited...
Anyhow, it was good to have seen Las Vegas once. At least now I know that I don't have to go there again ;)
Have a wonderful Wednesday and a good rest of the week!
Amazing photos (again), beautiful!

Hi Larissa, I would feel the same about the desert, so desolate, arid and abandoned. I flew to Vegas so I missed out on that drive, tis such a great contrast, the dry dull desert and the glitzy lights and electric strip of Las Vegas, isn't it? Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing your views with me.
ReplyDeleteNope, I have never been to Las Vegas, moreover, I have never been to USA:) It was really interesting to learn your opinion about it, I don't like such places too. I just love to be close to nature and I think everyone of us should be more careful about plastic and all other synthetic things, which ruin our environment in general.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, these photographs of the fields look wonderful, such a picturesque landscapes!
On my list. Such an amazing pictures, dear *_*

Ja nee, ist jetzt bestimmt auch nicht so ein Wunschort von mir. Was für eine Wasserverschwendung, so eine Stadt in der Wüste mit Brunnen und Hotels und pipapo...
ReplyDeleteLiebe Grüße,

It's interesting to hear your thoughts on it, I don't know too many people who have been, only what we see on tv.
ReplyDeleteI went there once and felt the exact same way. It's like visiting another planet and having nothing in common with its inhabitants.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos!

You are so funny! well I went to Vegas last year for work. It was not what I was expecting, the weather was incredible hot and I couldn't really enjoy much because I was with my coworkers but I honestly had a blast and the stores and malls are amazing :) We stayed at the MGM and my room was so beautiful, I would like to go back but this time with friends :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing and for your lovely comment on my blog, I'm following you on Bloglovin.

I have a friend that went to Vegas and hated it and then another friend that went and absolutely loved it, it seems like a very love/hate place, but I think I'd still like to go one day to experience it for myself :) xx
ReplyDeleteI've never been to Las Vegas and I never really desired to go either! I'm just not much into that kind of scene...though I know there is more to it that just what's on the strip. Your desert photos are really pretty (and it does look like a pretty place!)...I love that one of you from the back. Hope you're having a gorgeous week Larissa!! xo Marisa
ReplyDeleteHi Larissa!
ReplyDeleteYou look depressed in the last photo!noooo!!!
I've never been there, but everyone that has visited las vegas say the same things you said. it's fake.
I saw it, and you're not going to visit that city again! ;)
Have a nice Sunday my dear!
ooo sorry you dint like!! kisses larissa! musk
ReplyDeletehi dear Larissa! likewise, it has been too long since I've been over here (and I promise I was thinking about you even before your last thoughtful comment- thank you!!)
ReplyDeleteI have to say, I visited Vegas for my birthday one year with my sisters, and I had a blast, but I was very ready to go home after a long weekend. I know what you mean, the whole place does seem very fake. and the desert atmosphere makes it pretty exhausting. I have to say, I've enjoyed your pictures from the Southwest/deserts and now I'm kinda dying to go! I love how that last pictures really shows your feelings about Vegas, haha!
