My Easter Weekend

How was your Easter Weekend?

Mine was full of sunshine, beautiful moments with family and friends and some nice Easter surprises...

My fiances parents made us search our Easter presents in the garden - like we did when we were little. It was a lot of fun!

In my opinion there are two important things to do on Easter Sunday in Germany. The first one is to have a huge breakfast with some Easter decoration on the table :)
The second one is the traditional Easter-walk. You see soooo many families being out for walks at the beach or in the woods on Easter Sunday. We did of course also go for a long and beautiful walk :)

So how was your Easter weekend? I hope you enjoyed as much as I did :)
By the way, on my instagram feed you will find some pictures of the beautiful small town where part of my family is living!

  7. Hi Larissa, your Easter basket looks filled with the most amazing goodies! I didn't know about your traditions there, its interesting to learn about the Easter breakfast and family walk, really sweet idea! The flowers are so pretty. We only had Friday and Monday off here in SA but I took one more day off returning from the coast. Thanks for your support over at mine, hope you're having a great week so far!

  8. I love those little Easter Baskets, such a nice gift. Unfortunately I spent most of Easter Weekend in bed poorly and didn't get to eat any chocolate, but I'm making up for it now :) xx

  9. You are adorable Larissa! I love that you have a big Easter breakfast....for us it's a big Easter dinner and just like you, we search for baskets in the garden too, hehe. Hmm, I wonder if it's a German thing because none of my other friends have ever done that. Anyhoo, everything in your photos looks scrumptious...I want to dive right in :-)
