Summer is taking a break

Hey you guys!

Summer is taking a break over here and its really not that nice! Its grey and cold and I went back to jeans and sweaters..

How do you like my new shoes? I found them the other day at TKMaxx for only 10€ and of course I was pretty exited about it. I already saw them a few weeks ago but the price was a lot higher then so I didn't buy them. Now I wear them more or less every day and they are acutally perfect for this not-really-Summer-weather we have around here right now.

Hope you are doing good! Have a perfect Wednesday and enjoy the rest of this fabulous week :)

My week

Hey there beautiful!

I am sorry I was absent for the last week... I've been pretty busy. I had my cousins coming over, I went to Berlin to check out the wedding location and to buy tissue to make table clothes for the wedding, I also spend some time at the lake and went to the market to buy lots of fruits and veggies :)

So this is the tissue I bought for the wedding - I want to make table clothes out of it. What do you think about it?

I love these afternoons at the lake... I usually take some veggies with yummy peanut-thai-curry sauce with me and then I spend the entire afternoon swimming, eating and reading. Aren't those just the perfect days in life?
By the way, have any of you every read Connie Palmen? She is from the Netherlands and one of my all time favorite authors. I read all her books, starting when I was around 18 and I just love her since :)

By the way- my sunglasses are, as most of you already know, from  http://www.firmoo.com/
Also the glasses I am wearing on the upper picture are from Firmoo :)

This is what a market shopping looks like when I am going on a Saturday afternoon (when the prices are down because all the sellers want to get rid of their products). On all of this I spent around 15€ and I take around a week to finish it all. As you can guess, I eat a diet which is based on around 85% fresh fruits and veggies,  around 15% is grains and nuts.

So have you been doing? I hope you all had a wonderful week and I wish all of you a great start into the weekend! I will be enjoying a relaxing weekend for once! I will stay at home, its supposed to rain, so I think I will just spend the entire weekend reading and watching a few of my favorite youtube channels ;-)

Sending you lots of love!

Pyjama pants style

Usually I do not care that much about new trends...

... I somehow stick to my own style, no matter what trends are going on around me. However, this Summer I just fell completly in love with the pyjama pants trend. How cool is it that we can wear pyjama pants in public now ? I just love it! All those funny beautiful colors, the different styles and the eeeeendless comfort!

So this is how I like to style my favorite pyjama pants (on sale from H&M)

Are you also so much in love with these kind of pants? Send me some links to your pyjama pants outfits, if you have posted some that I haven't seen yet! I would love to see how you are pairing them!

I hope you are all good and I am sure you are all happy that its Friday :)! I am very happy... tomorrow I will go to Berlin once again and look at the place where the wedding will take palce in October. So exited about it!

Also, it seems like my life changes dramatically these days. Remember I told you that I am unhappy in my job? Well its no longer my job now! I want to change my life completly. What will be up next, I will tell you very soon :)

Enjoy your weekend pretty ladies and gentlemen! Thank you all for your continous support! So thankful for all of you!

Something sweet- baked banana with vegan chocolate dip

Time for something sweet!

This recipe is just perfect for the barbeque season because baked banans just taste best when you grill them outside :)

Its sugar free, its dairy free and its just super yummy!

What you will need are as many bananas as you wish, a bunch of salty peanuts, some dark (vegan) chocolate, soy cream and a little bit of agave syrup.

And you will get this:

So first how to make the (vegan) chocolate dip:

Heat some dark chocolate in a pot until its all melted and add some soy-cream (I use around the double amount of soy cream compared to chocolate) then also add some agave syrup and some salted peanuts (which you can grind a little before putting them into the pot). When everything is mixed well, put it into a bowl or glas and put it into the fridge.

When the time is come, just put some bananas on your grill and grill them until they are black (yes, it looks weird but thats how its best- I promise!).

Open the bananas like on the picture and put chocolate dip and salted peanuts on top - ENJOY :)

As always, please let me know if you tried and how you liked i!
This is my favorite dessert this Summer and I have it almost too often, I think... ;)

Lots of love to all of you out there!

Flower Shorts

I am in love with this pair of shorts...

...its so casual and leger and chic and stylish at the same time and I just love its colors - light pink and dark blue are two of my all time favorites :)
So you can imagine how happy I was, when I found this shorts on H&M sale for some 7€ :)

The cardigan I am wearing in here is a pick from my latest cloth-swapping-party. A bunch of ladies are now meeting one a regular basis in my living room to change clothes, drink champagne and enjoy some lady-time :)
I love those afternoons and I always find some nice new pieces there, which some of my friends do no longer wear. Do you sometimes go to swap parties?

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
I am spending it in northern Germany, visiting my family and a few friends that I haven`t seen in a long time... :)

Bean-Chili-Dip, Baba Ganoush, and Green Hummus

Today I want to share with you three yummy vegan dip ideas

A red and spicy bean and chili dip, a homemade baba ganoush and a green peas hummus

For the bean and chili dip you will need

- red bell pepper (1/2 of a big one)
- kidney beans (a small can)
- fresh chili (two or three - depending on how spicy you like it)
- tomatoe paste (3 tea spoons)
- canned tomatoes (one small can)
- soy sauce (2 tea spoons)
- some garlic

Just put everything in your food processor and mix until you have a nice dip :)
Add some pepper or/and salt in the end, if you like.

For the baba ganoush you will need

- two backed egg plants (remove the skin)
- lemon juice (just a little)
- tahina (4-6 tea spoons)
- garlic to your taste
- olive oil
- salt
-parsley

Please make sure to bake the egg plants in the oven until soft,  before mixing all the ingredients together. And remove the skin of the eggplants to get a nice and smooth dip.

For the peas hummus you will need

- peas (canned or fresh or frozen)
- garlic to your taste
- salt
- lemon juice
- parsley
- tahina (3-4 tea spoons)
- cumin
- cayenne pepper
- olive oil

In case you use canned peas, just mix everything together in the food processor. If you use fresh or frozen peas make sure to cook them until they are really soft before mixing everything together.

Bannock bread goes perfectly with these dips:

Just take some flour of your choice, add water and baking powder and blend it all together. Put some vegetable oil into a pan and fry the dough for a few minutes from each side in the pan (like pancakes). These little breads are soooo yummy! You can add salt or rosemary on top of the bread if you like.

Enjoy and let me know you liked it, in case you tried :)

Lots of love and have a wonderful rest of the week!

Koro-Drogerie (Review German)

Today I want to show my German followers the Koro-Drogerie.

I am sorry this Review was in German but the online shop I was talking about is for Germany only (up to now...) its a really great online shop where you can get dried fruits, nuts and all kind of washingpowder and other things for your house in huge quantities for a small price. I am pretty exited about this shop and I was lucky enough that I got to test it :)
