Another small exploration trip that we did the other day :)
The sun was shining, it felt like spring and we were soooo hapy to find this old factory where we were able to wander around and take lots of pictures!

I am super exited as I will go to get my fiancé from the airport tomorrow!
And before that I will go to an Indonesian night tonight to see some Indonesian dances, dance myself and eat lots of great food. So I think this weekend will be just perfect :)

Lately I spent too much money on beautiful new blouses. I don't know why I never thought about wearing blouses before... however, now I I have the impression I have to catch up and get a whole bunch of them. Not good for my bank account but good for the soul :)
I hope you are all enjoying your week so far!? Are you all exited about Valentine's Day? We do not celebrate Valentine's Day that much in Germany so I am somehow exited about experiencing a Valentine's Day here in the US.
I got some Chocolates for my room mates and my best friends even though I never bought chocolate for my fiancé when I was spending the Valentine's Day in Germany. It must be the US- air that makes me all exited about this holiday I never cared about before ;)

I've been to a Gala Show tonight and before I start stuyding for my exam for tomorrow and I want to share this with you :)
I wanted to show you some of the pictures from when I want to explore and abandoned house...
most of them are quite boring as the inside of the house looks more or less like every other house. So here are just a few.
As you can see on the pictures, there was a lot of snow that day that we went into the house. So, when we went out of the house again and wanted to sneak away without anybody seeing us, we realized that it is quite easy to follow our steps in the snow! Everybody was basically able to see that there were people walking into this abandoned house and where the footsteps came from and went to. A little bit stupid of us...
But nothing happend and the house is still more or less open :)

I am just back from a looooong walk in the sunshine, taking pictures and talking with one of my bestest friends here and now I will have to do some work for uni...
Do you celebrate the chinese New Year? Tomorrow there will be a big event on out campus, with a Gala Show and a dinner. So I am looking forward to this (especially as one of my roommtes is going to perform a dance at the Gala Show ;)))
I have totally forgotten about Uniqlo!
When I lived in Paris I went to shop there quite often as it was on the way to my university but when I moved back from Paris to Germany, I somehow forgot about it.
Now I am living in this small town here in Ohio, where I have to get back to online shopping because there are no shops around here. So while I was looking for some nice online shops I found UNIQLO :)
I just want to present one of the pieces I ordered- this blouse which I love and which I am wearing every second day at the moment :)
On sunday I've been on a long walk with one of my roommates...
I love to go on those sunday- walks with my roommate, 'cause we always find the most amazing places (at least I think there are the most amazing places and that may have something to do with the fact that I am in the US and I think almost everything is amazing as long as it is somehow new ;)).
So this sunday we found an abandoned house and we went inside and had a good time telling us stories about who is probably living on the second floor of the house and if he would hurt us or not. In the end we did not go to the second floor but explored only the first floor and still it was very exiting :)

Later that day we found those old trains and I was totally amazed and took a billion of pictures :)
And about the Superbowl... I did not really get the point of the whole thing. But the food was great and I had a wonderful time with my friends and it was fun watching Beyoncé during the halftime and the commercial for Volkswagen made everybody laugh (just because I am from Germany and this commercial is somehow so pro- german...).
That I did not get the point in the whole football-thing is probabaly just because I grew grew up in a culture where soccer is the most important sports ;)
As I did mostly post pictures of the nature and of the rural area of A., Ohio, I thought it is time for some pictures of urban places now.
Do you watch the Superbowl tonight?
For me it is the first time ever, watching a Superbowl and I am looking forward to it. I will go to a friends place and watch it together with other friends and lots of snacks and drinks.
I hope I will be able to stay awake for the whole show, as I did not sleep much last night and the night before. This little town here may look quiet on my pictures but at night you can have a lot of fun. Last night there was a Latino Night in my favorite bar and we danced for hours and hours.
