Greetings from Kiel

I am sending greetings from the northern part of Germany...

... where I am currently for a few days to visit my husband's and my own family. We are having a wonderful time here, even though it's grey and cold most of the time. Kiel is located at the baltic coast and my husband is coming from a family of sailors. This is why, of course, we also had to visit the family ship and spend some time at the harbor.
I am actually not into sailing at all but I enjoyed spending the day at the harbor, having a picknick on the ship and walking around the area, taking pictures :)

Tomorrow we will move on and continue our little northern-Germany trip... this year's Summer holiday is a little different from usual, since we are having a baby now and we do not want to travel somewhere far away with her. So we are just travelling through Germany and as soon as she is six months old, we are going for a somehow bigger trip.

What are your plans for the Summer? Have you already been on vacation or are you planning to go? I would love to know :)

Sending much love!

  2. Great trip, good yu can spend some quality time with your family:) We love baltic coast so much, but ufortunately we arent going anywhere this time, cos of the new apartments expenses...By the way, we've already moved in! Unfortunately still there is some renovation details that has to be done, so I'm sittin in a big mess right now, but I think by the end of the week it will be finely done:) About vacations - a year ago we went to Italy - it was so great:) Have a wonderful day, hugs:)

  7. Glad you're having fun. I understand what you said -- I also like being near water but not going out on boats. In two days, I'm crossing the continent and visiting Vancouver, Canada! There's a blogger convention there this weekend.

  19. woaaaa, I hope I can visit Europe in the future! :D
and yeah, because I recently have no photographer around, and my camera can't load my full body, so yeah I almost have to crop the heels part. But yeah, maybe I change, because of wearing heels at office all day long, make me boring, perhaps! :D

  20. Sailboats are something I always enjoy taking pictures of/seeing pictures of! Something about them is so pretty to me. Hope you are having a lovely trip! I'm not going on any "big" vacations necessarily, just lots of little trips for weddings!
