Lavera - my favorite organic make-up brand

About a year ago I presented Lavera to you for the first time...

...now I want to show you some wonderful new products and part of the make up I am going to wear to wear for my wedding :)

Lavera is an all-natural organic brand from Germany and I know the brand since my childhood. I love their make-up, their shower gels and body lotions and their great BB cream (one of my favorite BB creams!)

Lavera has a whoooole lot of beautiful products for the face, the body and the mind and I totally recommend you to check out their products. They are all made in Germany, 100% organic and plant-based!

You can find the English Lavera page here

So about the products, I've shown here... I LOVE the lipstick and even though I am not a huge lipstick fan I actually wear this lipstick almost every day since I got it! It looks really dark when you first see it but it puts the most amazing dark red to your lips. I will show you some pictures of me wearing the lipstick soon (well, you will see it on my wedding pictures for sure :)). The eye shadow is also just a perfect piece for Fall and I love to wear it, because of its natural color and decent glow :)

You can also see a whole bunch of samples in the background, and between others, there is my favorite BB cream. Also, you can see the wild roses series which I also love a lot. I've got the roses shower gel and body lotion and I really love to use the face cream as well.

Now, I will show you my wedding day outfit and make-up sometime in the coming weeks, so be ready for some more of this soon :)

Pink weekend

Happy Sunday everyone!

I am spending my Sunday doing some last wedding preparations and starting to pack my bags for the week in Berlin where the wedding will take place. Time went so fast! I can't believe that I will be a married woman in only 10 days! However, of course I am really looking forward to it :)

Now, this pink outfit was worn yesterday, I went out for breakfast with a good friend of mine and then went to the market (like every Saturday) to buy fresh fruits and veggies. I dont't know why, but I just felt like wearing pink :)

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend so far and I wish you a most relaxing and beautiful Sunday!
Sending you lots of love!

Wedding preparations

As promised, here are finally some wedding decoration ideas... :)

Here I will show you a few of the things we recently prepared.
The first thing will be the name cards. We used cardboard and put stickers on it - the sticker says "glad you are here" next to the sticker we will write the names of your our guests and place the cardboard on the plate of each person.

We also prepared cardboard hearts in three different colors, on the one side of the heart our guests are invited to write good wishes for us ("Ich wünsche euch"... in Germans means "I wish you...") and will be hang those with the small clothes pins to a cord. Towards the end of the evening we hope that there will be around 60 hearts hanging at a cord, making a nice garland :)

Another thing we prepared are those small cardboard hearts...they will just be all over the place at the wedding day - on the tables, in the kitchen, outside in the party tent etc. etc. :) To buy the cutting tool was actually a lot cheaper than I thought and its really easy with this tool to make these kind of confetti yourself - no need to buy them.

Finally, we also ordered something online- these cute fortune cookies made out of felt. We are going to put individual messages for every guest in the cookie and place it on his/her plate. We are also going to put a small homemade candy into the cookie and this all together is going to be our gift for our guests :)

I hope you enjoyed these ideas! More will follow for sure :)
Have a wonderful day!

Sunny-day-dress

Welcome back Sunshine!

Now that I talked so much about that Fall is coming, the weather decided to get better at least a little and I am able to show you this cute dress before it will be too cold to wear it :)

I think soon I will post a first wedding-preparation-post... last weekend we slowly started handcrafting some decoration and these next days I will continue doing so. Lets see if I make enough beautiful things which are worth being posted on my blog ;)

I hope you guys had a great start in the week!? I am pretty busy right now, preparing the wedding, trying to earn some money and getting lots of other things done. There is not that much time for blogging but I realized that it feels good from time to time to step out of everthing that needs to be done and to make a blog post or to prepare a blog post or think about which outfit I would like to share with you next :)

Fall is coming...

Fall is coming here in Germany, no doubt about it...

...I've been hoping that Summer is just taking a break but now the color of trees are changing and the temperatures proove that Summer is over since a little while. Last night I spent the evening putting all my Winter clothes back into my closet and putting my shorts and Summer dresses underneath my bed. It was  sad somehow, but now I try to make the best out of Fall, starting with this grey and black dress which I also got from my last swap-party. As you may have noticed I pair everything with my light pink scarf these days. I just love the scarf and the color suits with everything!

So here we go for a first Fall outfit :)

By the way, as most of you know, my sunglasses (which I love!) are from Firmoo - http://www.firmoo.com/

They currently have 20% off all their glasses because of their five year anniversairy ... in case you need a new pair of glasses, I guess that now is the right time :)

Have a most beautiful Friday everyone!
Sending you lots of love!

Vegan, gluten-free cherry-cupcakes with cashew-lime frosting

What a long name for those small cupcakes... ;-)

Anyway, they are vegan, gluten-free and super yummy and easy to make!
For the cupcakes you just need:

1 1/2 cups  gluten free flour of your choice (I used buckwheat flour)
3/4 cups of sugar (I used brown sugar)
1/3 cups of vegetable oil
Vanilla
Cherries
Baking Soda (a spoonfull)
Vinegar (a sponnfull)
And some water (as much as you need to make the dough smooth)

Blend all you ingedrients together, fill your dough into you cupcake-pan and bake for 20-25 minutes

Then for your frosting you will need:

Cashewnuts
Soy milk
Fresh lime juice
Some maple syrup

The quantity depends on how much frosting you like - begin by shredding your cashews and then add the liquids until you have a really nice and smooth cashew-paste.

Add the frosting when your cupcakes are cold .... and enjoy!

I made those last night because I was crawing for something sweet and I actually enjoyed them this morning for breakfast - what a perfect start in the new week and the new month!

Have a wonderful start in the week and in the month - the first month of fall!

Im sending you lots of love!
