Light and Shadows... a first 2014- Outfit post :)

I take it as a good sign that I had this wonderful light for my first outfit shooting of the year :)

We went to a nearby abandoned house for those pictures and the sunlight was shining through the broken windows and we got those great light-and-shadow pictures.

Concerning my outfit, I am wearing my favorite Lewis jeans which I found somewhere on sale while I was in the US. The shirt belongs to my fiance, but recently I am wearing his shirts as often as my own ones (I love living with him!!!). The scarf was a christmas gift from 2012, its 70% Alpaca wool and I rarely wear another one during the cold months of the year. Cardigan, Belt and bag are thrifted and the boots were a birthday gift from 2013. My mother and I went shoe-shopping on my birthday and I got two wonderful pairs. The ones I am wearing in here are lined with sheep wool and its the first time since a long while that I have really good and warm winter shoes.

I wish all of you a most wonderful weekend! And THANK YOU for the warm welcome-back comments :)

  9. Sunlight is one of nature's gifts and it's surprising how varied it can be. Here, the light is searing but beautiful. It makes you look pensive... like a writer or other intellectual. Your clothes are cute and my eye catches your nail-polish. Nice post!
