It's time for another peek into my home...
back in December I showed you a few details from my flat and today I want to take you back there :)
Also I want you to get to the know the brand ecover
aka "tapping into nature today for a cleaner tomorrow".
Why is ecover so absolutely worth promoting? There is a whole long list of good reasons:
- All ecover formulas are biodegradable. That means that after use, the ingredients will break down into natural compounds
- ecover bottles are made from a blend of sugarcane-based plastic and post-consumer recycled plastic (and they look good - dont they :)?).
-All of ecover’s products are Leaping Bunny certified. Leaping Bunny is
an international certification that assures that no animal testing is
done in any phase of product development by the company, its
laboratories or suppliers.
- ecover is using nature-inspired chemistry like fermentation to minimize their impact on the environment (fermentation can be used to make effective ingredients for soap)
Need more good reasons? Visit ecover.com to learn more about this really and honestly impressive brand that is doing a great job in promoting a more sustainable and conscious lifestyle (almost) all over the world. You can find their prodcuts all over Europe, in Malayasia, the Emirates, the US and so on... ;)
I have been using their dish soap for a long time and I was amazed by their other products that I got to test for you.
So the first picture is from our kitchen. My husband build the kitchen all by himself and I really love it a lot. It's the place where I spend most of my time :)
These pictures here are from our bathroom. I never had a bathroom with a window before I moved in here, and I enjoy it so much! I can take my shower in the sunshine and this truely is pure luxury for me!
About the ecover products here - I was really happy to get to try their laundry powder with zero fragrance, dyes or optical brighteners. This is exactly what I was looking for for my little one's diapers and clothes. Find out more about the laudry powder here
The stain remover is doing a pretty good job when it comes to cocoa stains - I only tried it on cocoa stains so far ... yes, we drink a lot of hot chocolate (vegan and sugar free of course!)
By the
way, last Sunday my husband and I spent the day Spring-cleaning the
house. The ecover products arrived just on time to help us - and they
did a great job! I never thought I would say so but Spring cleaning is
so much fun! We spent the entire Sunday cleaning every corner of the
house, listening to music, having breaks on the balcony and ending up
with a clean and nice flat :)
Now to our living room ... we spent loads of beautiful hours in there during Winter, but now that it is getting warmer we rarely ever go there, because we are on our balcony all day long, or if not outside, then in the kitchen, preparing food, chocolate, muffins or smoothies to enjoy on the balcony (no, that's not true, we also work in our office several hours every day). Anyway, at night the evening sun is shining in to the room and I love the light at this time of the day.
I hope you enjoyed this peek into my place and I really recommend checking out ecover and start cleaning in a more sustainable way! You will not regret it and the environment will thank you for sure!
Sending loads of love!

Favorite Smoothies for Spring
Its officially Spring!
Monday I shared my first Spring look and today I am celebrating Spring with a bunch of yummy and healthy smoothies!
I dont know about your farmers market but on mine all the fruits are starting to come back and there are loads and loads of greens too! Of course I enjoy all of this goodness in my daily smoothies. Here are a few new recipes that I have been enjoying lately:
Banana and Cantaloupe
Melons are coming back! Yeah for that! I love melons of all kind and I am so excited that they are coming back to the farmers markets aorund here!
One of my favorites smoothies both for Spring and Summer is baaananaaa with cantaloupe melon. I like to have a huge one with three ripe (spotty) bananas and two cantaloupe melons. Maca goes soooo well with both the flavor and the color of this smoothie! I like to add some Maca because it is so rich in vitamin B, vitamins C and E. Plus it provides plenty of calcium, zinc, iron, magnesium, phosphorous and amino acids.I got my Maca powder from Greenic - you can find their super foods at various online shops.
Wild Garlic, Fennel, Grapefruit and Lemon
Okay, now you may say something like "what??? Wild garlic in a smoothie???". Thats what I thought, but then I tried it and I figuered - its not bad at all! Wild garlic is in season right now and we have loads of it in the wood close to my house. So on my morning runs I make a little stop and pick some. I like to make pesto with it... and smoothie. Since the taste is rather strong I like to combine it with fruit strong in taste too, like grapefruit and lemon. The fennel somehoe tones down the smoothie and makes it taste even fresher. For a little extra I added some Matcha Fresh blend from Greenic - it has matcha, barley grass, wheat grass, lemon grass and lemon myrtle. So many antioxidants at once!
Celery, Dates and Apple
Celery is back in season and it goes so well with some fresh apples and some sweeeeeet dates :) I usually use two apples and two sticks of celery together with a handful of dates.
To this smoothie I added some of th "slim" blend from Greenic. Not that I want to loose weight (I am already thinner than I was before pregnancy since the little one is drinking so much :)) but the blend is just the perfect superfood power blend: green coffee, topinambur, barley grass, turmeric, ginger, and some sunflower protein. Pure goodness!
Spinach, Dates, and Blood Orange
This one is my current morning smoothie - you can maybe tell from the pictures that the sun is just raising :)
I really have this one almost every morning, sometimes I have normal oranges instead of blood oranges and sometimes I have grapefruit. And yeah, sometimes I have other greens too, depending on what my organic market sells. But these days its a lot of spinach, so I have a lot of spinach smoothies. I really love this smoothie. Its more than love actually, I am pretty much addicted to it. When I wake up in the morning its the first thing I am thinking about. I usually get up to make two jars and take them back to bed to have it there with my husband and the little one (its my favorite time of the day when the three of us are in bed, cuddling and drinking green smoothie :)). I always add either barley grass to this one or Moringa. Both are incredible superfoods. I know Moringa from my visits in Ghana where it grows like everywhere and I was really happy to learn that Greenic sells it here in Germany!
By the way, now that fresh veggies are back on the market I also love to buy radishes, beets, carrots and cabbage turnip with the greens and use them in my smoothies! The greens do actually have so much more nutrients than the roots! So go ahead a put them into your blender :)!
By the way, I have been posting a little bit about Greenic back here when I showed you my favorite smoothies for Fall and Winter. I am using their superfoods for a few months now and I am really happy with them! I am really excited to be able to include the brand in the post about my favorite Spring smoothies as well. I actually rarely ever drink a smoothie without a superfood in it. I use barley grass every day (I wrote about barley grass back here) but I also like to try new super foods and to add different powdered fruits and greens into my smoothies. Greenic has this great variety which I love, plus they have some awesome blends! I also like to use dried chokeberry or dried goji berry powder but most often its either pure barley grass or Greenic.
I hope you enjoyed this post!
Sending much love to you!

Fair Squared Cosmetics
Now this is a brand!
Let me tell you about Fair Squared...
Fair Squared offers cosmetic and hygiene products made of fairly traded and natural ingredients to you! Worldwide their products were one of the first to be labelled with the well-known Fairtrade logo.
But not only that - they are also organic, plus they are vegan, plus they are halal. Hello? How cool is that?
Fair Squared is an alternative trade organisation. They have fair dealings with producers from the world`s poorest countries and produce the final products here in Germany. I did not know about this brand until recently and I am sooo oexcited I discovered it (thank you Annemarie!).
Their products vary from sun protection to condoms, over body lotions and lip balms. They really have a great amount of essentials of all kind! Make sure to check out their website: www.fairsquared.info
So far I tried their Shea Body Butter which is made of Shea butter (obviously) and olive oil. It nurtures, hydrates and protects the skin, making it smooth, soft and glowing. I like body butter better than body lotions because I am just a fan of those thick and rich textures. This one comes in a huge pot which I find great - it will last for a while at least ;) it leaves my skin soft and smooth while absorbing quickly. That's definetly a plus. The smell is not my favorite though. It smells of lime which simply isnt my favorite smell (see below).
I also tried their Lime Showergel which is made for dry skin. There is also precious olive oil in there which has been used for centuries to moisturize and gently cleanse the skin. I am not a huge fan of lime when it comes to shower gel or body butter scents (I prefer cozy scents such as vanilla, honey or similar). When it comes to cosmetics, I am just not a lime girl, neither a lemon girl, actually, not a fruit girl at all ;) . However, I like the soap dispenser which makes it easy to use the shower gel and I also like the soft feeling it leaves on my skin. I guess both products with another smell would be perfect! I will definetly give it a try!
Okay, so seriously - what a cool brand? I totally think we should all support them!
Their slogan is "Its in your hands". I like this a lot! Its in your hands in what kind of world you want to live! You are free to choose every time you purchase something - do you want to live in a world where cruetly towards animals is the norm? Well go ahead and buy those hotdogs. Do you want to live in a world where its normal that textile workers are abused and even die because of horrible working conditions? Well go ahead and buy from all those bad brands. Do you want to live in a world where the environment is treated as if we had a second planet earth to move to when this one is destroyed? Well go ahead and buy all this junk.
You do want to live in a world where animals, humans and the environment are treated with love and respect? Then be an example, make the first step. We all have a choice every day to make this world a better place - its in YOUR hands!
Buying Fair Squared instead of Loreal or whatsoever is just one choice of the many you can make every single day :)
I am wishing all of you a wonderful weekend ahead!
Sending muuuuuch love to all of you!

Everyday Make Up (With Lavera)
Its time for a new beauty post!
Finally! I have been missing my beauty posts but since I am only blogging twice a week and since I love posting my Monday outfits there is only one post per week related to something else than my boring looks ;) in these last couple of weeks food was more important to me than beauty so I posted mainly food related things on Thursday. And I have all those food posts waiting to be posted in the coming weeks too... but TODAY is a beauty Thursday :)
Lavera. Lavera was the first beauty brand I reviewed for you on my blog aaaaaall the way back in 2013 (you can find the post here) and around once or twice a year I brought some Lavera products back to the blog to remind you how much I like this brand ;)
I currently use a Lavera shower gel, a Lavera body butter, my husband washes his hair with Lavera shampoo, and my baby is always getting some Lavera baby oil in her bath tub when she is taking a bath. So Lavera definetly is part of my everyday. I already wrote back in my first post about this brand that my mother already used to use their products and hence, I know Lavera since childhood. Since, the brand has changed from being a niche in the organic cosmetics section to being a modern, colorful, popular and trendy brand, playing a huge role on the organic beauty market.
All products from Lavera are 100% organic, 100% cruelty free, 100% made in Germany, and 100% free of parabenes, mineral oil etc. - but you know that already because I would not promote this brand as big if it were`nt so ;)
Anyway, so today is all about MAKE UP!
Those of you who follow me for a while, know that I am not a make up pro and I am not wearing loads of make up. I cannot live without a really good blush, eye brow pencil and mascara though. These three things definetly are my essentials. I like to add some lip stick too, and sometimes I also wear eyeliner. Rather rarely I make use of make up or eye shadow but this does not mean I never do. I really love to put make up on, I just rarely feel like its the right occasion to do so. Anyway. I got this hyper wonderful package from Lavera to show you their idea of an everyday make up. Well, it fits (almost) perfectly with my idea of what a great everyday make up would consist of :)
So here is what we you can see of the picture:
The Natural Mousse MakeUp Ivory
The Natural Mousse Blush Classic Nude
The Beautiful Mineral Eyeshadow Mono Shiny Taupe
The Intense Volumizing Mascara
The Soft Eyeliner Golden Brown
The Eyebrow Pencil Blond
And the Brilliant Care Oriental Rose Lipstick
All links go to the German version of the website but you can just change the language to English :)
After taking the obligatory pictures of the new in products I used all of them to create my very own Lavera everyday look. I felt really pretty afterwards ;)
But, more importantly, the products were all really nice to my skin and easy to use. I was surprised how soft the eyeliner was and how easy it was to apply make up and blush (when I first saw them I thought they will be rather hard and difficult to apply).
The make up is very light, which I like because I always prefer to look natural and I do not want to feel pasted up. The blush has a very soft color which I find great (even though I usually use a stronger color) plus its a cream blush and I have been looking for a cream blush everywhere! My husband found one from a Greek brand called Korres and gave it to me for Christmas and now, lucky me, I got another one! The eyebrow pencil has a perfect brown color and is really soft too and the eye liner in golden brown is so much better than a black one! Well at least when you have rather light hair as I do, and when you do are going for a simple make up. The eye shadow has this really nice soft and slightly shiny color which I would probably not wear in a everyday make up but which is beautiful for special occasions or nights out. The mascara is great too, yet I think I prefer my other mascara from Lavera (which I showed you back here) because its somehow richer. And finally, the lipstick - its creamy, pinky, shiny and makes my lips feel so nourished!
On the pictures, I have to say, it really looks like a light everyday make up, very natural, I would say. In reality it was slightly too much for me (because of the eye shadow I think. I just do not really use eye shadow during the day) but I felt pretty. I went out for a coffee date after taking these pictures and when I came home the make up still was were it was supposed to be - so nothing bad to say about durability :)
How do you like these products on me? Do you think I look like a slightly too busy mother which is not getting enough sleep or like a fresh young woman after a very good nights sleep ;)??? (I guess its something in between ;))
Wow, guys, I wrote a lot. Now just make sure to check out www.lavera.com or www.lavera.de and let me know if you have any questions.
I will now take this pretty make up off, put a Lavera face mask on, and jump on the couch, reading my new book and drinking some hot lemon water :)
Sending loads of love to you!

2015 Beauty Favorites
Let me share my beauty favorites from 2015 with you...
... before I truely dive into the new year with my blog, I want to take a last look back. Today I want to share my favorite body care, skin care and make up from 2015 with you. I used all these products a lot throughout the year and I love all of them. They are all organic, natural and from great brands!
So let me start with my favorites in body care:
1. Burts Bees Sugar Scrub! Yummy! I love the smell, I love the way it makes my skin feel super soft and I love how it leaves some moisture and fat on my skin after using it. I got it as a gift for my birthday 2014 and I used it carefully during the year (I could need some new one actually... )
I wrote about it back here too
2. Dr. Hauscka Rose Body Oil. Dr. Hauschka definetly is one of my favorite organic cosmetics brands! The body oil is really like the best I ever had! I used it for the first time more than ten years ago and every once in a while I am lucky to get one as a gift from my mother - and then I spoil myself with this luxury product :)
3. Weleda Shower Gel. To be honest, I could not really choose which of the many awesome shower gels from weleda is my favorite - I LOVE the wild rose one, I LOVE the pomegranate one and I LOVE the sea buckthorn one. Since this is the one I am currently using, I put this one on the picture.
4. Lavera Body Butter. Since I love the smell of macadamia nuts and since I love a fat and thick texture when it comes to body care, this body butter from Lavera had to be on my favorites list too. However, I used several aaaaaaaawesome body lotions throughout the year, many of them from Lavera!
5. Korres Body Lotion. Wow! I got to know Korres at the really end of the year and baaaaam - I promise you that they will be on my favorites list for 2016 again! What a great brand! Why did I not know them before? Anyway, the Marrocain Rose body lotion and body butter are amazing! I love the texture, I love the smell and I love the design ;)
Here are my face care favorites:
1. Annemarie Börlind Eye Cream. This one is my favorite from all of them. I used this eye cream a year or so ago when I visited my mother and since, I wanted to have it too. Its quite expensive though, so I never really wanted to spend 18 euro on an eye cream... well, lucky me that I got it for Christmas :) its my favorite eye cream ever! So rich, so good, so perfect! Really!
2. Love me Green Face Cream and Face Mask. Love me Green is one of those super cool brands that I got to know in 2015 - and I am so happy about that! The regenerating day cream is one of my favorites as is the moisturising face mask. Wait. Actually I liked the regenerating face mask better. Or no. The moisturising one. Or maybe the rege...
You get the idea ;)
I wrote about it back here, here and here too
3. Lavera Beauty Balm. This one really saved me on those tired days when I had had a little bit of a hard night. I never use makeup but this cream really made me look good on bad days. Thanks for that Lavera!
4. Lavera Cleansing Milk. My favorite for my sensitive skin! It cleans well, makes my skin feel nourished rather than dry after using it and helps with small blemishes.
5. Dr. Hauscka Day Cream Rose. Body care or face care, no matter what, Dr. Hauschka simply is awesome! Try their products, then you know what I mean! You really can feel the quality of the products on your skin and when you listen carefully you can hear your skin saying "thank you!"
And now the last one: Make up!
1. Benecos Eye Brow Pencil. Something that simple yet something that made me incredibly happy throughout the entire year! I LOVE this eyebrow pencil. Since I got it, not a single day passed without me using it (okay, thats not true, there were those days spent in PJ where I did not leave the house... and I did not use my eye brow pencil).
I wrote about it back here too
2. Benecos Blush Mallow Rose and Brush. I got these towards the end of the year when I was looking for a new blush. I was looking for a cream blush/blush stick but could'nt find one - so I tried this blush instead. What a find! I love the color and it really feels good on my skin and not dry at all (I usually prefer blush sticks because powder often makes my skin feel dry). It really is a great alternative to my blush stick!
3. Korres Blush Stick Peach. Talking about blush... towards the end of the year I got to know the Greec brand Korres and fell in love. Completely. And especially in this blush stick! It smells like vanilla, is super creamy, has the perfect color and well, is my new favorite I guess.
4. Dr. Hauscka Volume Mascara. I tried quite a few mascaras in 2015, always looking for the perfect one. I have to say that I still didn't find the perfect one (when I laugh tears - which happens often - all those organic mascaras tend to make me look like having a black eye... :() but as long as it is dry, not snowing, and I am not crying, this one from Dr. Hauschka is really good I think ;)
I wrote about it back here too
5. Lavera Lip Stick Sweet Bramble. My lip stick of the year! Love it! The color looks darker than it does on the lips, I was wearing it quite a lot on the blog actually. Always makes me look slightly more elegant, I think ;)
6. Alverde Concealer. This one, next to the Beauty Balm and the Blush, saved me on those days where I looked tired and exhausted. Thanks for that Alverde! I really like it because it has this cooling liquid on the one side and the soft rose colored concealer on the other side. Great product!
Wow, those were a lot of products! Do you know and of them? Do you use any of them? Are maybe some of them in your favorites list too :)? I would love to know!
Have a great rest of the week and a wonderful weekendend ahead! I will be back on Monday with my first outfit post of 2016 ;)
Sending much love!
... before I truely dive into the new year with my blog, I want to take a last look back.

Renovating and Moving (plus getting energy from Voelkel)
Happy Monday!
For me it is the first day in my new apartment. The last two weeks were crazy - so busy with renovating and moving. We are not completly done yet but as I am writing this, I am sitting on the sofa in my new living room and I am so so happy about this! But let me take you back a few days when we first got the keys for the new apartment and we began renovating it. This apartment is somehow special for us since it is our first "family apartment". We are moving in here as a family, we will soon celebrate our first Christmas here as a family, our little one will learn talking, walking and dancing in here, and we will (hopefully) open our own business in our office here. Its a big change for us and we are excited. This is why we take some time to make this place really pretty. We began by painting the wall in the bedroom in light blue. How do you like this color?
During the days of renovating, we were very happy to have some delicious Vegan To Go Drinks with us. These drinks are made with quiona and, depending on which one, loads and loads of other super healthy ingredients. They are more like a soup than like a juice or smoothie - very creamy and filling. Just perfect to get some energy when painting a bedroom :)
There are six super tasty blends available:
Quinoa + Baobab
Quinoa + Matcha
Quinoa + Cocoa
Quinoa + Almond
Quinoa + Kurkuma
Quinoa + Chili
Difficult to say which one is best. I love the Quiona and Baobab one, which is somehow sweet and fruity but the Quiona and Kurkuma one is also soooo good. Its like this sweetest, nicest Asian curry soup. However, the one with Matcha is also insane! Well, they are all really good!
Some of the Vegan To Go Drinks we actually had while painting, but we saved two for our break on the balcony. One of the reasons why we moved is that we want to have a balcony. A sunny balcony! We want to spend as much time outside as possible with our little one and since we are living in the city, its not easy (and not cheap) to find a place with a garden. In our new house we have a very pretty and green backyard where the little one can play when she gets older, plus we have big balcony where we can spend loads of time together. Even now that its getting colder, its so beautiful to sit outside, wrapped in a blanket and enjyo some Fall sun together with my husband and my baby :)
By the way, I cannot wait for Spring and Summer and for all the flowers and plants we will have on the balcony :)
When we were enjoying the sun on the balcony, we had the Almond and the Cocoa drink from the Vegan To Go series and thoese two are definetly also favorites (as I said above its difficult to tell which one is best since they are all very different... but these two are sweet and nutrients and creamy and I just love almond and I just love cocoa and I just love these drinks :)!)
These small energizers have really been the perfect company for our few days of renovation works and we were very happy to have them! They really gave us the energy we needed and it was great to have these healthy options when we got hungry and tired from painting the whole day.
I shared something about the brand Voelkel almost a month ago (namely here) and I am happy to be able to share more about this brand which is so worth to support. Not only do they produce all those incredibly yummy and healthy juices, smoothies, kind-of soups, lemonades, and syrups but also are they very into sustainability, environmental protection and fair trade, plus they put a lot of effort in helping refugees here in Germany. You can read more about their commitments here and those of you coming from Germany, please feel free to read more about Voelkels commitments towards refugees in Germany here.
So, here we are, in a new week, in a new apartment - but on the old sofa with the same red woolen blanket wrapped around my legs ;) Now I will go a get a cup of tea and maybe some filled dates (oh, did I write filled dates? Hmm... maybe I will share more about this soon ... :)) and enjoy this first Monday night in my new home while the baby is sleeping and my husband is still working in the kitchen, trying to install the sink and the dishwasher :)
How is your Monday? I hope you are all doing good - and in case you need some fast, yummy, and healthy energy, you now know where to find it :)
Sending much love!

My body and face care routine
Today I want to share my body and face care routine with you...
... I never did a "my whatever routine" post before and some of you asked me to do so when I commented on their routine. So here we go :)
I am a simple girl, using simple products (always natural and organic) and not too much of everything. So when it comes to my body I use a shower gel (currently I am in love with the shower gels from benecos - I love their smell!) and a body lotion afterwards (currently my favorite one from Weleda...). Around once a month I use a body scrub which i make from grinded avocado kernel (I just put a avocado kernel in my high speed blender, turn it on, until I have a kind of powder and thats it). Thats it about my body care routine :)
Currently I really love these shower gels from benecos so they are an everyday part of my morning routine.
I change my body lotions quite regularly since I cannot decide on an all-time favorite. I showed you a few of my favorites here. This one from Weleda did actually not make it to the list that time even though it definetly belongs to my favorites!
The last part of my daily body routine is of course my deodorant. Those of you who, like me, only use organic cosmetics, know that its a little bit of a thing to find a good organic deodorant. I have been trying quite a few in the past few years and I was never 100% satisfied. Often they smell too strong of essential oils, they do not really protect you, they do not last long etc. etc. For a few weeks now I try this deodorant from benecos and I have to say that so far I really like it. The smell is decent and fresh, it protects me well and I feel clean and fresh with it, even when I go running or do other sports (or when I am moving boxes from the old apartment to the new one ;)). But I have to try it further in Summer when I am hot for several hours, to say if it really is as good as I think right now ;)
But now to my face care routine. I do not use any make up remover but instead I remove my make up with coconut oil - its cheaper, better for my skin and 100% natural and organic :)
Have you tried this? I can really recommend doing this - it also works perfectly fine for waterproof eye make up and I am sure its so much healthier for your skin than whatever make up remover you can find.
And here a few other products I use for my face: A toner from Burts Bees that I use every morning, organic almond oil which I use instead of a night cream (in Summer I do not put anything on my face at night, but in Fall and Winter my skin is more dry so I put a little bit of almond oil), and two day creams. Depending on my mood I either use a Beauty Balm from Lavera or the Regenerating Day Cream from Love me Green that I showed you already here :)
Well, and thats it. As I said, I am a simple girl. Do you use a lot more products in your body and face care routine or maybe even less than I do? I would love to know :)
Sending much love and wishing you all a great week ahead!

Getting my Vitamins for Fall (with Voelkel)
Wanna know an easy way to get plenty of vitamins in Fall?
In Summer its so easy to eat loads of fruits, because they are available everywhere and they are mostly much cheaper than in Fall and Winter. But when Summer comes to an end then very soon only apples, pears and plums are left (okay, this is exaggerated but you get the idea ;)) and most people actually eat fewer fruits and more unhealthy snacks as soon as it gets colder. One easy and fast way to get plenty of fruit, vitamins and color in your life if to drink high quality organic fruit juices - like this rainbow here :)
Voelkel is a brand that I know since childhood (ita actually exists since 1936). I always used to drink their organic juices as a child and I loved them. Since, the brand developped loads of new interesting products and I would like to share a few of them with you. One is the fair to go series with different super yummy and healthy juices.
I love these small delicacies with their rainbow colors, their cute labels, their all organic ingredients and their awesome taste. Plus they are really perfect to take on the go because of their small size. I tried six different kinds (there is a new one called superfoods that I would love to try but did not get the chance yet - have a look at it here) and my favorite is the one with guava and aloe, it is made from organic aloe vera and chokeberry and from Demeter quality grapes and guava pulp and all of the ingredients come from controlled organic or biodynamic farming (plus it tastes like Summer at its best and you forget all about the grey clouds outside when drinking it!).
As some of you know, I get most of my vitamins through smoothies that I have everyday (by the way, I will share my favorite Fall and Winter smoothies with you very soon!) but when I am travelling I really enjoy good organic juices as an alternative to my smoothies. For those occasions the fair to go juices from Voelkel really are perfect. They fit in almost any pocket, do not weigh much and are fairly produced. They are the perfect small breakfast or ideal snack in a handy 0.25 litre glass bottle. This weekend my husband and I enjoyed some of them on our Saturday afternoon walk to the market when he had a break in the park to get some vitamin D (sunshine) :)
What I really like about Voelkel is that they are not only producing sustainable, organic products in reusable glass bottles but they do also care about others - they philosophy is all about responsibilty for nature and mankind. Please feel free to read more about this here (yes, its English ;)). On their website you can also have a look at the variety of juices and drinks they have. Maaaaybe I will also show you a few more of their products here on the blog, cause I love this family-owned company and I think its totally worth supporting it to the max :)
Have a great start in the new week everyone! And thank you so much for yor sweet comments on my Iran look :)!
Sending much love!

Hot Breakfast (with Davert and Choc Shot)
When the days are getting colder, I like my breakfast hot...
... usually, I just have my favorite breakfast smoothie in the morning, but on grey and cold days I like something hot, like oatmeal and hot cocoa.
I make my oatmeal with water and I like to add some small specials to it - like raisins, almonds, goji berries, cocoa nibs, apples and cinnamon (in Winter my favorite is apples and cinnamon!) and sometimes I get the chance to try some ready made one, like this one from Davert.
Its made with cocoa nibs, raisins, cinnamon, roasted almonds and some linseeds. Its really good and I enjoyed a huge bowl of it!
To make it even tastier I added a little bit of Choc Shot.
I wrote a little bit about Choc Shot back in November last year (you can find the post here and since that time when I tried it the first time, I actually always have a bottle of Choc Shot at home. I like to drizzle some on my oatmeal, on my pancakes, on toast - and of course in my almond milk. I also got to try Choc Shot Coconut and Choc Shot Orange Spice (which is so perfect for the seaon!) and here on the picture I am actually having a hot chocolate with Shot Choc Coconut (plus I drizzled some dried blossoms on top).
You can find the products from Sweet Freedom here (and in some supermarkets like the Veganz markets in Germany). I actually really like their 100% natural products made without any artificial colourings, flavourings or preservatives, all vegan, no refined sugar and no GMs!
Whats your favorite breakfast for cold days? I would love to know :)
Sending much love!
PS: I am participating in the Keimling Food Blog Award and I would be very happy if you could vote really quick for me (its one click!) by just using the button to the left sidebar of my blog! THANK YOU :)

Slow Living Conference - Goodies and new Friends
Let me share some of the awesome goodies from the Slow Living Conference with you...
... I posted about the conference in my before last post (here) so in case you do not know what the Slow Living Conference was about, feel free to check that out.
Besides the awesome foods and drinks that we got during the conference, we were also invited to take a few goodies with us - and of course I thought its a great idea to share these with you. I took some smoothies, some tea and some dried fruit mix which are all organic and from companys absolutely worthy of support (thats why I am doing this post ;)). Since I really loved the smoothies and the dried fruits, I decided to share a little more about these products in an extra post sometime in the future and tell you a little more about the brands Voelkel and Keimling. For now, I will just shortly sum up what I got here :)
First of all there is this chai tea from Shotimaa that I am drinking while I am writing this. Its spicy, its sweet, it gives me this feeling of coziness - its all a good chai tea needs to be.
It this time of the year where I drink chai tea all day and it was like the day before the conference that I thought that I need to buy some chai tea to bear the greyer and colder weather - well I did not have too because someone thought the same thoughts I did ;)
Then there are these little juices from Voelkel. I actually know the brand since childhood because I used to drink their products at the time already. At the conference I tried their green smoothies (perfect!) and the juices from their "fair to go" series. They are all super healthy and super yummy! At home I also tried their "Vegan to go" drinks that I am going to share more about sometime soon :)
Finally, there are also the dried fruits from Keimling that I have been snacking on intensively every day since the conference ;)
Keimling is a great company for vegans and everyone who likes healthy food, super foods and even raw food supply.
I am actually participating to receive the Keimling Food Blog Award and I invite all food blogs from Germany to participate too (deadline is September 30). I do not really think I have great chances to win since my blog is everything but a professional food blog - but I thought its fun to participate anyway and I may ask you sometime soon to vote for me :)
Since Keimling has a whoooooole lot of intersting products and since its an awesome company anyway, I will share more about this company soon.
Aren't these amazing goodies? I was thrilled - they were so 100% in accordance with my taste and my values and the moment I saw them I thought "oh wow, I have to share this on my blog". So this is what I did now and I hope you enjoyed :)
Sending much love and wishing you all a wonderful weekend!
