Fair Squared Cosmetics

Now this is a brand!

Let me tell you about Fair Squared...

Fair Squared offers cosmetic and hygiene products made of fairly traded and natural ingredients to you! Worldwide their products were one of the first to be labelled with the well-known Fairtrade logo.

But not only that - they are also organic, plus they are vegan, plus they are halal. Hello? How cool is that?

Fair Squared is an alternative trade organisation. They have fair dealings with producers from the world`s poorest countries and produce the final products here in Germany. I did not know about this brand until recently and I am sooo oexcited I discovered it (thank you Annemarie!).

Their products vary from sun protection to condoms, over body lotions and lip balms. They really have a great amount of essentials of all kind! Make sure to check out their website: www.fairsquared.info

So far I tried their Shea Body Butter which is made of Shea butter (obviously) and olive oil. It nurtures, hydrates and protects the skin, making it smooth, soft and glowing. I like body butter better than body lotions because I am just a fan of those thick and rich textures. This one comes in a huge pot which I find great - it will last for a while at least ;) it leaves my skin soft and smooth while absorbing quickly. That's definetly a plus. The smell is not my favorite though. It smells of lime which simply isnt my favorite smell (see below).

I also tried their Lime Showergel which is made for dry skin. There is also precious olive oil in there which has been used for centuries to moisturize and gently cleanse the skin. I am not a huge fan of lime when it comes to shower gel or body butter scents (I prefer cozy scents such as vanilla, honey or similar). When it comes to cosmetics, I am just not a lime girl, neither a lemon girl, actually, not a fruit girl at all ;) . However, I like the soap dispenser which makes it easy to use the shower gel and I also like the soft feeling it leaves on my skin. I guess both products with another smell would be perfect! I will definetly give it a try!

Okay, so seriously - what a cool brand? I totally think we should all support them!

Their slogan is "Its in your hands". I like this a lot! Its in your hands in what kind of world you want to live! You are free to choose every time you purchase something - do you want to live in a world where cruetly towards animals is the norm? Well go ahead and buy those hotdogs. Do you want to live in a world where its normal that textile workers are abused and even die because of horrible working conditions? Well go ahead and buy from all those bad brands. Do you want to live in a world where the environment is treated as if we had a second planet earth to move to when this one is destroyed? Well go ahead and buy all this junk.
You do want to live in a world where animals, humans and the environment are treated with love and respect? Then be an example, make the first step. We all have a choice every day to make this world a better place - its in YOUR hands!

Buying Fair Squared instead of Loreal or whatsoever is just one choice of the many you can make every single day :)

I am wishing all of you a wonderful weekend ahead!
Sending muuuuuch love to all of you!

Everyday Make Up (With Lavera)

Its time for a new beauty post!

Finally! I have been missing my beauty posts but since I am only blogging twice a week and since I love posting my Monday outfits there is only one post per week related to something else than my boring looks ;) in these last couple of weeks food was more important to me than beauty so I posted mainly food related things on Thursday. And I have all those food posts waiting to be posted in the coming weeks too... but TODAY is a beauty Thursday :)

Lavera. Lavera was the first beauty brand I reviewed for you on my blog aaaaaall the way back in 2013 (you can find the post here) and around once or twice a year I brought some Lavera products back to the blog to remind you how much I like this brand ;)
I currently use a Lavera shower gel, a Lavera body butter, my husband washes his hair with Lavera shampoo, and my baby is always getting some Lavera baby oil in her bath tub when she is taking a bath. So Lavera definetly is part of my everyday. I already wrote back in my first post about this brand that my mother already used to use their products and hence, I know Lavera since childhood. Since, the brand has changed from being a niche in the organic cosmetics section to being a modern, colorful, popular and trendy brand, playing a huge role on the organic beauty market.

All products from Lavera are 100% organic, 100% cruelty free, 100% made in Germany, and 100% free of parabenes, mineral oil etc. - but you know that already because I would not promote this brand as big if it were`nt so ;)

Anyway, so today is all about MAKE UP!

Those of you who follow me for a while, know that I am not a make up pro and I am not wearing loads of make up. I cannot live without a really good blush, eye brow pencil and mascara though. These three things definetly are my essentials. I like to add some lip stick too, and sometimes I also wear eyeliner. Rather rarely I make use of make up or eye shadow but this does not mean I never do. I really love to put make up on, I just rarely feel like its the right occasion to do so. Anyway. I got this hyper wonderful package from Lavera to show you their idea of an everyday make up. Well, it fits (almost) perfectly with my idea of what a great everyday make up would consist of :)

So here is what we you can see of the picture:

The Natural Mousse MakeUp Ivory
The Natural Mousse Blush Classic Nude
The Beautiful Mineral Eyeshadow Mono Shiny Taupe
The Intense Volumizing Mascara
The Soft Eyeliner Golden Brown
The Eyebrow Pencil Blond
And the Brilliant Care Oriental Rose Lipstick

All links go to the German version of the website but you can just change the language to English :)

After taking the obligatory pictures of the new in products I used all of them to create my very own Lavera everyday look. I felt really pretty afterwards ;)

But, more importantly, the products were all really nice to my skin and easy to use. I was surprised how soft the eyeliner was and how easy it was to apply make up and blush (when I first saw them I thought they will be rather hard and difficult to apply).

The make up is very light, which I like because I always prefer to look natural and I do not want to feel pasted up. The blush has a very soft color which I find great (even though I usually use a stronger color) plus its a cream blush and I have been looking for a cream blush everywhere! My husband found one from a Greek brand called Korres and gave it to me for Christmas and now, lucky me, I got another one! The eyebrow pencil has a perfect brown color and is really soft too and the eye liner in golden brown is so much better than a black one! Well at least when you have rather light hair as I do, and when you do are going for a simple make up. The eye shadow has this really nice soft and slightly shiny color which I would probably not wear in a everyday make up but which is beautiful for special occasions or nights out. The mascara is great too, yet I think I prefer my other mascara from Lavera (which I showed you back here) because its somehow richer. And finally, the lipstick - its creamy, pinky, shiny and makes my lips feel so nourished!

On the pictures, I have to say, it really looks like a light everyday make up, very natural, I would say. In reality it was slightly too much for me (because of the eye shadow I think. I just do not really use eye shadow during the day) but I felt pretty. I went out for a coffee date after taking these pictures and when I came home the make up still was were it was supposed to be - so nothing bad to say about durability :)

How do you like these products on me? Do you think I look like a slightly too busy mother which is not getting enough sleep or like a fresh young woman after a very good nights sleep ;)??? (I guess its something in between ;))

Wow, guys, I wrote a lot. Now just make sure to check out www.lavera.com or www.lavera.de and let me know if you have any questions.
I will now take this pretty make up off, put a Lavera face mask on, and jump on the couch, reading my new book and drinking some hot lemon water :)

Sending loads of love to you!

2015 Beauty Favorites

Let me share my beauty favorites from 2015 with you...

... before I truely dive into the new year with my blog, I want to take a last look back. Today I want to share my favorite body care, skin care and make up from 2015 with you. I used all these products a lot throughout the year and I love all of them. They are all organic, natural and from great brands!

So let me start with my favorites in body care

1. Burts Bees Sugar Scrub! Yummy! I love the smell, I love the way it makes my skin feel super soft and I love how it leaves some moisture and fat on my skin after using it. I got it as a gift for my birthday 2014 and I used it carefully during the year (I could need some new one actually... )
I wrote about it back here too

2. Dr. Hauscka Rose Body Oil. Dr. Hauschka definetly is one of my favorite organic cosmetics brands! The body oil is really like the best I ever had! I used it for the first time more than ten years ago and every once in a while I am lucky to get one as a gift from my mother - and then I spoil myself with this luxury product :)

3. Weleda Shower Gel. To be honest, I could not really choose which of the many awesome shower gels from weleda is my favorite - I LOVE the wild rose one, I LOVE the pomegranate one and I LOVE the sea buckthorn one. Since this is the one I am currently using, I put this one on the picture.

4. Lavera Body Butter. Since I love the smell of macadamia nuts and since I love a fat and thick texture when it comes to body care, this body butter from Lavera had to be on my favorites list too. However, I used several aaaaaaaawesome body lotions throughout the year, many of them from Lavera!

5. Korres Body Lotion. Wow! I got to know Korres at the really end of the year and baaaaam - I promise you that they will be on my favorites list for 2016 again! What a great brand! Why did I not know them before? Anyway, the Marrocain Rose body lotion and body butter are amazing! I love the texture, I love the smell and I love the design ;)

Here are my face care favorites:

 1. Annemarie Börlind Eye Cream. This one is my favorite from all of them. I used this eye cream a year or so ago when I visited my mother and since, I wanted to have it too. Its quite expensive though, so I never really wanted to spend 18 euro on an eye cream... well, lucky me that I got it for Christmas :) its my favorite eye cream ever! So rich, so good, so perfect! Really!

2. Love me Green Face Cream and Face Mask. Love me Green is one of those super cool brands that I got to know in 2015 - and I am so happy about that! The regenerating day cream is one of my favorites as is the moisturising face mask. Wait. Actually I liked the regenerating face mask better. Or no. The moisturising one. Or maybe the rege...
You get the idea ;)
I wrote about it back here, here and here too

3.  Lavera Beauty Balm. This one really saved me on those tired days when I had had a little bit of a hard night. I never use makeup but this cream really made me look good on bad days. Thanks for that Lavera!

4. Lavera Cleansing Milk. My favorite for my sensitive skin! It cleans well, makes my skin feel nourished rather than dry after using it and helps with small blemishes.

5. Dr. Hauscka Day Cream Rose. Body care or face care, no matter what, Dr. Hauschka simply is awesome! Try their products, then you know what I mean! You really can feel the quality of the products on your skin and when you listen carefully you can hear your skin saying "thank you!"

And now the last one: Make up

1. Benecos Eye Brow Pencil. Something that simple yet something that made me incredibly happy throughout the entire year! I LOVE this eyebrow pencil. Since I got it, not a single day passed without me using it (okay, thats not true, there were those days spent in PJ where I did not leave the house... and I did not use my eye brow pencil).
I wrote about it back here too

2. Benecos Blush Mallow Rose and Brush. I got these towards the end of the year when I was looking for a new blush. I was looking for a cream blush/blush stick but could'nt find one - so I tried this blush instead. What a find! I love the color and it really feels good on my skin and not dry at all (I usually prefer blush sticks because powder often makes my skin feel dry). It really is a great alternative to my blush stick!

3. Korres Blush Stick Peach. Talking about blush... towards the end of the year I got to know the Greec brand Korres and fell in love. Completely. And especially in this blush stick! It smells like vanilla, is super creamy, has the perfect color and well, is my new favorite I guess.

4. Dr. Hauscka Volume Mascara. I tried quite a few mascaras in 2015, always looking for the perfect one. I have to say that I still didn't find the perfect one (when I laugh tears - which happens often - all those organic mascaras tend to make me look like having a black eye... :() but as long as it is dry, not snowing, and I am not crying, this one from Dr. Hauschka is really good I think ;)
I wrote about it back here too

5.  Lavera Lip Stick Sweet Bramble. My lip stick of the year! Love it! The color looks darker than it does on the lips, I was wearing it quite a lot on the blog actually. Always makes me look slightly more elegant, I think ;)

6. Alverde Concealer.  This one, next to the Beauty Balm and the Blush, saved me on those days where I looked tired and exhausted. Thanks for that Alverde! I really like it because it has this cooling liquid on the one side and the soft rose colored concealer on the other side. Great product!

Wow, those were a lot of products! Do you know and of them? Do you use any of them? Are maybe some of them in your favorites list too :)? I would love to know!

Have a great rest of the week and a wonderful weekendend ahead! I will be back on Monday with my first outfit post of 2016 ;)

Sending much love!

My body and face care routine

Today I want to share my body and face care routine with you...

... I never did a "my whatever routine" post before and some of you asked me to do so when I commented on their routine. So here we go :)

I am a simple girl, using simple products (always natural and organic) and not too much of everything. So when it comes to my body I use a shower gel (currently I am in love with the shower gels from benecos - I love their smell!) and a body lotion afterwards (currently my favorite one from Weleda...). Around once a month I use a body scrub which i make from grinded avocado kernel (I just put a avocado kernel in my high speed blender, turn it on, until I have a kind of powder and thats it). Thats it about my body care routine :)

Currently I really love these shower gels from benecos so they are an everyday part of my morning routine.

I change my body lotions quite regularly since I cannot decide on an all-time favorite. I showed you a few of my favorites here. This one from Weleda did actually not make it to the list that time even though it definetly belongs to my favorites!

The last part of my daily body routine is of course my deodorant. Those of you who, like me, only use organic cosmetics, know that its a little bit of a thing to find a good organic deodorant. I have been trying quite a few in the past few years and I was never 100% satisfied. Often they smell too strong of essential oils, they do not really protect you, they do not last long etc. etc. For a few weeks now I try this deodorant from benecos and I have to say that so far I really like it. The smell is decent and fresh, it protects me well and I feel clean and fresh with it, even when I go running or do other sports (or when I am moving boxes from the old apartment to the new one ;)). But I have to try it further in Summer when I am hot for several hours, to say if it really is as good as I think right now ;)

But now to my face care routine. I do not use any make up remover but instead I remove my make up with coconut oil - its cheaper, better for my skin and 100% natural and organic :)
Have you tried this? I can really recommend doing this - it also works perfectly fine for waterproof eye make up and I am sure its so much healthier for your skin than whatever make up remover you can find.

And here a few other products I use for my face: A toner from Burts Bees that I use every morning, organic almond oil which I use instead of a night cream (in Summer I do not put anything on my face at night, but in Fall and Winter my skin is more dry so I put a little bit of almond oil), and two day creams. Depending on my mood I either use a Beauty Balm from Lavera or the Regenerating Day Cream from Love me Green that I showed you already here :)

Well, and thats it. As I said, I am a simple girl. Do you use a lot more products in your body and face care routine or maybe even less than I do? I would love to know :)

Sending much love and wishing you all a great week ahead!

Organic Hand Cream Favorites

Today I want to share my favorite organic hand creams with you...

... the brands will not be new to those of you who follow my blog since a while - I just love them and they convince me over and over again with their organic, fair, sweet-smelling, effective products :)

I want to begin with the Sea Buckthorn cream from Weleda because this one I actually use in more than 10 years. I think my mother used to use it and so I began loving it pretty early. This hand cream drenches hands in moisture, as well as vitamins and essential fatty acids necessary for healthy skin, its full of antioxidant-rich biodynamic sea buckthorn and has the best uplifting natural fragrance from pure essential oils of mandarin, orange and grapefruit. It absorbs quickly (actually no other one can compete with this one when it comes to absorption) and I use it mostly when I am working on the computer or writing letters because I can be sure not to leave any grease anywhere.

You can find out more about the Sea Buckthorn hand cream from Weleda here

The next one is not new to many of you - my much loved hand cream from Love me Green. I wrote about this hand cream here and here and I am not getting tired of telling you how much I like this product ;) This regenerating organic hand cream is made with moisturizing and regreasing organic shea butter and protects your hands and helps to improve the regeneration ability of your skin. It relaxes irritated and stressed skin - and it smells really good! I love to use this hand cream in the eveing when I am relaxing (and the baby is sleeping) and I am trying to calm down and get ready for the night... :)

Feel free to find out more about this hand cream here.

Now the hand and nail cream from benecos was also on my blog before. I wrote about it here when I talked about my Summer nail care routine. The hand cream from benecos contains also Sea Buckthorn (like the one from Weleda) plus orange peel oil!  It provides rich, natural care for soft hands and beautiful nails and I always have it in my purse to use it whereever and whenever I want on the go :)

You can find out more about this hand cream here.

And last but not least there is the Honey and Grapeseed Hand Cream from Burts Bee's. This one is NOT vegan and its not 100% organic but I like to add it anyway because 1. I am okay with honey even though I am eating a vegan diet and 2. the hand cream is 100% natural which is not organic but still good.
This hand cream is made with Honey, Jojoba Oil and Rosemary Extract and it’s specially designed to smooth and soften super dry hands. It has an intense smell that my husband does not like at all and that I love ;)

Feel free to find out more about this hand cream here.

And now I would love to know about your favorite hand creams? Do we have one in common?

Sending much love and wishing you all a wonderful weekend!

Regenerating Face and Hair Care

Summer days are to be spend outside...

...  at least thats what I think. I spend all my days in the garden of my holiday house, enjoying the sun, the wind, sometimes the rain (on the roofed terrace) and the fresh air. This is great for body and soul and also for my skin. But my skin also needs a little extra care when its exposed to much sunlight. This is why I love to use the regenerating products from Love me Green

Every morning I spoil my face with the regenerating day cream to provide my skin with moisture. The day cream supports the regeneration process and improves skin elasticity, and it give a fresh complexion without leaving a greasy film. Plus it smells really good. I like the fact that all ingredients are natural and organic - aloe, argan oil, shea butter, pomegranate seed oil, apricot kernel oil, and frangipani extract.
I really love this product and I can recommend it to anyone who wants to give their skin some extra good day care, protection and a little bit of luxury - and to everyone who loves the amazing smell of pomegranate and frangipani flower :)

You can find the cream here

When I feel like I need a little extra care for my face, I love to use the regenerating facemask which I reviewed for you on my blog here

For my hair I also like to use organic and natural products only. I did not review much hair care on the blog so far because I mainly use my rather simple organic shampoo and argan oil.

However, when I went to the hairdresser a few weeks ago she recommended me to use conditioner since my hair is slightly dry. So I started looking for a good conditioner (I never really used conditioner ever) and I was really happy when I got to try the one from Love me Green.

The organic conditioner nourishes my hair, it has a wonderful smell of coconut and frangipani flower and my hair regains its natural smoothness without feeling dry after washing it. The conditioner is extremely gentle, smells amazing and is stuffed with great natural ingredients such as shea butter, cocnut oil, aloe and papaya extract.

You can find the conditioner here.

Like all products from Love me Green, they are certified by ECOCERT Green life therefore they correspond to the ECOCERT bio-cosmetics standard. All products are vegetarian, some even vegan. Even if a few animal products such as beeswax, honey, or royal jelly are used, they are all monitored and ECOCERT Green life conditions are met: "There can be neither parts of the animal, nor shall their extraction stress the animals or result in pain or death of the animal. They must be produced naturally.” This is guaranteed by ECOCERT Green life.

What are your favorite after sun products? Do you use any special skin or hair care during Summer? I would love to know :)

Sending you much love and wishing you a wonderful start in the new week!

Organic Volume Mascara Favorites

Today I want to share my favorite organic volume mascaras with you...

... I have been trying all different mascara brands in the past years and here are my three favorites when it comes to organic volume mascaras:

Vegan Wonder Mascara from benecos
Volume Mascara from lavera
Volume Mascara from Dr. Hauschka

All three give my tiny eyelashes some volume and color and all three are great for my lashes, since they are 100% organic and filled with nutritious oils and precious plantbased ingredients.

Vegan Wonder Mascara from benecos

This one contains Vitamin E and nourishing Avocado Oil, its grey and its really easy to apply. I put on three coats in the picture (on all pictures actually). I really like this one because it does not contain that many essential oils and therefore does not burn when you get some of it in your eye or when you are applying it. I like the shape of the brush and the texture of the mascara. I am very happy about what my eyelashes look like when I use this mascara.
Its 100% vegan.

Volume Mascara from lavera

This one is with Organic Jojoba oil and Wild Rose which deeply hydrates and prevents flakes. Its easy to apply, the lashes do not stick together and I really like the result. Also here, there is no reason to fear tears because of the essential oils the formula is perfect for anyone with irritable or sensitive skin and eyes.
It is also 100% vegan.

Volume Mascara from Dr. Hauschka

This one is not vegan since it contains beeswax. There is also candelilla and rose wax, combined with silk in there which protectively envelop each individual lash. The rapid-drying formulation thickens fine lashes without causing any clumping. Its easy to apply, I love the brush, and I love the result, however, when not dried yet, the formular burns in my eyes when I apply the mascara, because of the essential oils. I may be oversensitive though.

I highly recommend all three of the mascaras, I use them all three regularly and I love them!
My eyelashes are really short and do not have any volume at all, also I do not use any further products (like eyelash curler) but mascara only. I think the results of these mascaras would be even better on someone with "more" lashes and when using a eyelash curler.

What are your favorite mascaras? Do you have any recommendations for me? :)
Sending you all much love and wishing a wonderful week!

Summer with Love me Green

Summer with Love me Green smells like papaya...

... and since I love papaya I am going to share my two new Love me Green products with you.

I got the organic radiance face cream and the organic moisturizing facemask to try for you and both products seem to be perfect for me and my skin.

The face mask is perfect for Summer - I used it twice so far, after a long day outside with lots of sunshine. My skin was feeling dry and irritated at night so I used the mask and did not apply any other product afterwards. My skin felt nourished, moisturized and smooth after applying the mask and even the next morning. The facemask consists of white lupines (I love to eat products with lupines but I had no idea there were used in cosmetics too!) which is extra high in proteins (supports the skin in the form of new tissue) and of red grape leaves - and like all products from Love me Green the face mask is without any parabens, silicone or mineral oils.

(Do not be confused- on the website the product descriptions got confused, so the text next to the facemask is actually a wrong one and so is the one for the radiance face cream...)

The radiance face cream is the one smelling of papaya, something I really enjoy every morning when I apply the cream. The most intersting ingredient in this face cream is Osilift. That is a 100% natural extract from cleaned avena seeds. It immediatly smooths the surface of the skin and has a lifting effect. Perfect for me when I had a bad night (the baby is sleeping really good most of the time, but there are exceptions of course... ;)). Then there is the papaya (and it smells sooo good :)) The papaya has a purifying and detoxifying effect and can protect against aging. This definetly sounds good to me! I use the cream every morning since around one week and my skin feels good and also seems to look a little better (I actually had some problems with pimples after pregnancy- yes, the hormones... and this got a lot better since I am using the Love me Green day cream. Maybe its the papaya doing this!? ).

You can get all products from Love me Green at http://love-me-green.com/
You can read my other reviews on this brand here or even here and here .

I hope you are having a great week so far and I wish you a perfect day :)
Sending much love!

Homemade Sunscreen

I have been looking for a good sunscreen for my baby...

... of course I only use organic products for my baby since I only want the best for her skin. However, even in the organic sunscreens available on the market there is lots of stuff in there, where I am not sure if I really want my baby's skin to absorb it or not. So I decided to make my own sunscreen to make sure that only the best ingredients are used and that no chemicals and no non-natural ingredients get in contact with my baby.

Now, the whole family is using this sunscreen since its really easy to make, it is super easy to apply (those of you know organix sunscreen know the thick texture and the white skin you have after applying it...) and it makes the skin soooo soft because of all the good oils in there. I am pretty much in love with my homemade sunscreen and this is why I thought I better share my recipe with you :)

So here is what you need:

100 ml sesame oil
60 g cocoa butter
10 g coconut oil
10 g bees wax (if you want to make it 100% vegan, leave this out and use slightly more cocoa butter insetad)
6 teaspoon carrot oil (or a few drops of carrot seed oil)

In this recipe its mainly the sesame oil which gives the sunscreen an UV protection of approximately 25, but also the coconut oil has a natural UV protection. There are lots of other natural oils out there which can protect your skin from the sun, but sesame oil is one of the strongest and this is why I decided to use this one for this sunscreen.
Its as easy as it can be to make this sunscreen - you just add all the ingredients into a pot and let the cocoa butter, coconut oil and bees wax melt (just put the pot with the ingredients into another pot filled with hot water). Then pour the blend of oils and fats into a glass.

The sunscreen will smell like sesame oil and coconut oil. If you do not like the smell, you can always add essential oils of your chocie! The yellow color of the sun lotion is of course because of the carrot oil. If you do not like that, you can always use a few drops of carrot seed oil instead of the 6 teaspoons of carrot oil.

The sunscreen will look like this when its still hot it will only take a few hours for the oils to harden and for you to have a  sun screen with a nice texture - not too hard yet not too soft.

When applied on the skin, it will melt easily so that its really easy to apply. This is especially important for me because I dont like to stress my baby's skin with lots of rubbing of cream into her little face.

As mentioned above, the sunscreen had a UV protection of approximately 25. I use it several times a day when I spend lots of time outside and believe me, my skin gets sooooo soft from all these good oils! My baby seems to like it too and now she does not have an all-white face like she used to have when I put the organic sunscreen on her face.

Have fun trying and let me know what you think about this recipe :)!

Organic Body Lotion Favorites

Today I want to show you my favorite organic body lotions...

... since its the time of the year where we are going to show more skin, its even more important to take good care of our skin and in case you need a new body lotion, I have a few to recommend to you :)

The Radiance Body-Lotion from Burts Bees
The body lotion is formulated with Royal Jelly, one of nature’s most nourishing substances (however, not vegan in case you care), and Mica, a light-reflecting mineral which enhances skin tone. The result is soft, shimmering skin. I love this little bit of a glow in Summer on my arms and legs.

The Rose Nurturing Body Cream from Dr. Hauschka
This rich product absorbs quickly and supports the skin’s natural barrier function. It offers intensive care and protection and its even gentle enough for babies’ skin! I love to use it when I feel like my skin needs a little extra luxus and a little extra fat - like after I have been to the lake or the pool or after taking a bath. This one is a little expensive so thats why I use it with care ;)

The Bodymilk from the Regenerating Care series from Lavera
This body milk is for challenged and dry skin, for noticeable firmness. Its also a rather rich body milk which I like to use after having spent some time at the lake or pool but I also use it on an everyday basis (its a little cheaper than the first two too so thats also why I use it more frequently).

The Regenerating Macadamia and Honey Body Cream from Love me Green
This body cream is for sensitive, stressed skin. It protects the skin by moisturizing the deepere layers of the skin and prevents skin aging. The cream makes the skin supple without being greasy so I like it for my every day use - even though it always feels like a special treat. The smell is amazing by the way ;)

Do you use any of these? If not, what are your favorite body lotions? Do you use different ones in Summer than you do in Winter?
Let me know :)

Spoiling myself with Love me Green (plus Baby Update)

These days, I feel like I need to spoil myself...

...after giving birth, I think its especially important to spoil yourself with good products for your skin and hair. The days after delivery, the body is working extremely hard to recover and I think also the skin and hair needs some extra attention in these stressful days, where the whole body is working hard.

I love to spoil myself with some really good organic products from Love me Green.

I love to use my face mask to relax when the baby is sleeping and I have some time for myself. I need these small moments to spoil my skin and to take care of myself a lot these days. Of course its wonderful to have the baby around all the time, but its also important to think of myself from time to time :)

I also really like my Love me Green hand cream which I use several times a day. Its so good to know that its 100% natural so that I can use it all the time and I do never have to be afraid that my baby gets in contact with some bad ingredients from my hands.

You may remember that I already wrote about this brand some two months ago in this post. I am recommending this brand again today, because I am really convinced by their products (after using them for more than two months now) and I would like to support this new (and still rather small) brand.

So,about the baby...

... I am really really grateful for all your thoughts and good wishes! I think its amazing how many people all around the world are sending good wishes to our little baby girl. She is a week old today and she is perfect! We are so grateful and happy about her! She is the most amazing gift we ever got and we are overwhelmed every day, again and again.
I am going to make maybe another few posts related to pregnancy and babies but I am going to keep her privacy and I will not publish any images of her on my blog. I hope you all understand!?

Have a most wonderful weekend everyone! And thank you again for your good wishes!

Spring with benecos natural cosmetics

Benecos natural cosmetics just launched a few new vegan products...

... and since I love benecos since I got to try them for the first time a couple of weeks ago, I am exited to present these new products to you :)

About the brand benecos
For a long time, natural cosmetics had a colourless eco look, the product choice was limited and prices were generally high. No longer!
Because we offer you an alternative: benecos. Modern, natural cosmetics. benecos is stylish and modern. Urban and trendy. Elegant and fashionable.
With controlled natural cosmetics we put the shiny colours of the metropolis of this world in your make-up case!

benecos products are attractive, BDIH certified and their prices are irresistible.

You may remember the eyeshadow from my last benecos review!? Now next to the eyeshadow benecos launched a new eyebrow-designer and two new mascaras. All products are vegan and 100% organic and natural. You can check them out at http://www.benecos.eu/ where you can also find more information about the ingredients used by benecos.

Here is a quote from the website:

Everything we put on our skin is absorbed by our body. For many substances used in conventional cosmetics, this may even be harmful to our health. That is why we should use cosmetics in which only ingredients are used that do not harm our body. We think this is only possible with substances that are just like the human body: natural.
Vegetal oils and waxes – like those used in benecos products – have a composition that is similar to skin fat and support the natural regulation processes of the skin through different active ingredients from within. They are harmless on the skin, contributing to the generation of a natural protective film, biodegradable and, finally, environmentally friendly and resource-saving.
BDIH-certified benecos products do not contain – guaranteed – any mineral oils or derivatives / silicones / parabens / synthetic emulsifiers or their derivatives (PEG/PEG derivatives) / synthetic colorants or aromatic substances. These substances have no place in natural cosmetics!

I am especially exited about the eyebrow-designer since I find it so hard to find an eyebrow-pencil with a color suiting my real eyebrow color. So up to now I just used a darker pencil and I always had to be careful not to use too much of it so that the color of my eyebrows is not getting too dark. Well now I do not have this problem any longer, since the eyebrow-designer does just have the perfect color for my light eyebrows. Love it!

I am also really happy about the vegan wonder natural mascara steel grey. I do not really like to use black mascara because its too "hard" for my skin and hair tone. Usually I use dark brown mascara and I always wanted to try a grey one. However, I could never find any one which was vegan and organic! What a lucky gal I am that I got to try the vegan wonder natural mascara steel grey.I like its color and the natural way it shapes and colores my eyelashes without making them look "painted" or simply unnatural. I have to say though that there are only 5,5ml in the mascara which I find is not that much (especially since there are 8ml or even 10ml in the other mascaras from benecos). I wonder if its more expensive to create a grey color instead of a black one or whats the reason for why it has the same price as the other mascaras, yet less content!?

About the quattro eyeshadow I already wrote something in my last review and my opinion did not change since - I still love the eyeshadow and I use it almost every day.

So here are my eyes and eyebrows, wearing the steel grey mascara, the eyeshadow and the eyebrow-designer.

How do you like this kind of natural make up? As most of you know, I do not like to wear much make up, however, I LOVE to wear a little, in a way that makes me look like I am not wearing anything. Modern but natural :)
Benecos and other organic brands are perfect for these kinds of looks and this is why I like them much more than all the other brands out there. Besides, I prefer to use vegan cosmetics and almost ALL the "big brands" out there are NOT vegan and they are all testing their products on animals. I am actually not willing to support that. This is why I am so happy and grateful that more and more companies emerge, using organic ingredients and renounce animal testing. I really want to support these kinds of brands and this is why I like to share these kinds of reviews with you! Its not because I get stuff for free that I write all these positive things about benecos but its because I really want this company, like other ones, to grow and flourish!

So feel free to spread the message and have a look at benecos on the net.
Sending you all much love on this grey and rainy Sunday!
